Fourteen generations of the Towers family farmed the valleys around us before we moved to Brades Farm in 1960, with just six dairy cows. In the early days we did our local milkround in the family car, before we grew our business across the Lancaster district in processing and in retail. Today the family farm is managed by the latest generation of the Towers family.
We are motivated by all the people we have met who live and breathe great coffee - from smallholder farmers in the Southern highlands of Tanzania to the ‘Liquorers’ in Nairobi, and from the traders at the weekly coffee auction to the brilliant people of so many nationalities who serve our barista milk with artistic flair and love in London and beyond.
It's never quiet at Brades Farm - not with three generations of the Towers family and our dedicated team.
